Orobie camper Area

From 3 February 2024, the Orobie Camper Area is officially open in Ardesio at the gates of the small village in the upper Seriana Valley, in a quiet area near the Serio river, surrounded by greenery. The new rest area is the ideal place to enjoy a few days of relaxation, visit the village, participate in the numerous events offered throughout the year in Ardesio and plan an excursion along the Orobie ring (which starts and ends right in Ardesio ) or a walk among the many paths in the area.

The Orobie Camper Parking Area in Ardesio offers:

  • 11 camper parking spaces (max 72 hours);
  • 3 columns with electricity connection;
  • “camper service” space equipped with a drain for wastewater collection and water intake;
  • it is illuminated;
  • The use of the camper service and electricity is subject to a fee (see rates)
  • tree-lined picnic area;
  • By collecting the dedicated card at the Vivi Ardesio tourist office you can take advantage of discounts in some affiliated activities.

Rates

For the first three months parking will be free, you will pay only if you use electricity, subsequently the rates will be redefined. Payment by credit card and debit card.

It is prohibited in the area:

  • Park inside the “camper service”, on the access roads and in any case in such a way as to create an obstacle to transit;
  • Damaging municipal property;
  • Washing or hanging clothes, parking with engines running, lighting fires, playing with throwing objects (balls, etc.);
  • Activities in conflict with public peace from 9.00 pm to 8.00 am;
  • Discharge white and/or gray water outside the designated “camper service” space and outside the following times: from 8am to 11am and from 3pm to 8pm;
  • Leave waste of any kind;
  • Park cars or vehicles other than motorhomes;

Violations entail the administrative sanction referred to in art. 185, c. 6 of the Legislative Decree
285/1992 and subsequent amendments, unless they involve more serious sanctions and/or compensation for any
damage caused.

Unattended parking – the Municipality is not responsible for the theft of objects, accessories,
money and other things or for any damage that may occur to the vehicles during the stop.
